Greeting from Burnt Hill Sports! 

Burnt Hill is a small, family business that we started with my Dad about a year ago mostly out of frustration.  The baseball glove my Dad bought at the local sporting goods store was falling apart. 

Now maybe Dad was too cheap to spend the money for a top quality glove that was going to last more than a season or two (Dad says this is not likely); or maybe Chris didn’t take care of it the way he should have (Dad says this is highly probable); but after searching, buying and game testing what seemed to be dozens of gloves (and easily an equal number of bats, batting gloves, helmets, etc.), we identified some of the best equipment in the country. 

During practice and at games our friends, teammates, and their parents would ask about the gloves, bats, batting gloves and catcher’s equipment we were using.  And before we realized it we were in business. 

Now Dad and Mom take care of the business end of things, including this Web site.  We, along with our friends, get to test all of the equipment.  And while Chris’s first passion continues to be baseball, Matt’s is soccer; so look for us to add soccer equipment in the very near future.

As you look over the available equipment please keep these things in mind:

· All of the equipment you see offered on our site has been “field tested” by some of the finest young recreation and travel baseball players in the state of New Jersey.  WE DO NOT SELL ANYTHING THAT WE HAVE NOT SEEN USED ON THE  FIELD.  AND IF THE PLAYER USING IT WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT, YOU WON’T FIND IT HERE.  SAME GOES FOR ALL OF THE SOFTBALL & GOLF EQUIPMENT AS WELL

· Wherever possible we have arranged for you to purchase directly from Burnt Hill; however, some of our suppliers will allow purchase via their web site only.  When this occurs we provide a link to that site for your purchase.

· Your satisfaction is key.  If you are not happy for any reason contact us and we will make things right.  Whether that means a refund, or replacement, we want you, and more importantly your budding all-star to be happy with your selection.

· We believe strongly in supporting youth sports, so we donate a percentage of our profits to local leagues and school sports programs. It’s a way for us to give back to the coaches, leagues, and communities that helped us grow. We’d be happy to support your program; so contact us and we’ll get you the details on how to participate.
